We recognize that philanthropic and civic funding is limited and therefore NWFN seeks to leverage the capacity of the entire community by identifying a variety of partners and sponsors who share our goals.
If you would like to become an NWFN Partner or Sponsor, please contact Christine Eadie at ceadie@nearwestfamilynetwork.org.
In addition to working closely with each of the community development corporations in our neighborhoods to ensure we are reaching residents in all corners of the neighborhoods, we hope that our Network will grow to include many other non-profit and business community organizations as partners and sponsors.
By working with other organizations we are able to maximize the individual donations we each receive to have the greatest positive impact in our community. Additionally, our joint-marketing efforts raise public awareness of the organizations actively working to strengthen our community and the families who live here.
Partners provide ongoing funding to help support specific events and/or to offset the minimal costs we have as an organization. Though we are 100% volunteer-run and we do our best to minimize costs, there are unavoidable costs to maintain and promote the organization. Additionally, not everything we do is directly sponsored and one of our goals is to keep our events no- or low-cost for all participants. Partner funding helps us achieve that goal.
We are excited to have Neighborhood Family Practice (NFP) as our 2018-2019 Health Partner! We will be working with NFP to design signature events and activities for the year that promote healthy living for adults and children. Please sign up for our newsletter and check our calendar to keep up-to-date as more details are available.
NFP is a community health center offering innovative and high quality primary health care services to all ages at three location on the west side. Throughout the last year, we have been fortunate to work with a number of organizations that have sponsored individual events. The monetary and in-kind support they provide help to bring quality programming to our neighborhoods.
